This workshop series is brought to you by Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association, Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre and is generously funded by Lotteries Yukon, Yukon Government, Canada Council for the Arts and the Government of Canada.Old Style Pointed Toe Toddler Wrap-Arounds with Suzan MarieCome and spend the weekend sewing old style pointed toe toddler wrap-arounds with Dene author, educator and renowned artist Suzan Marie.Suzan is an amazing source of knowledge and has played a very large role in the revival of Dene art. Come listen, share, and learn. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience! This workshop is open to the public.The workshop will be held at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre and will run from Saturday, November 7th to Sunday November 8th from 10am - 4pm each day. Light snacks will be provided and COVID-19 safety measures will be in place. This workshop is open to beginners.COVID-19 safety measures:
- Tables and participants will be spaced 2m apart.
- Sanitizers and disinfectants will be available.
- Masks are not mandatory but are recommended.
